The Blackwood Organization Founder and local business owner Ebony Cochran and Master Teacher of Davis Aerospace Technical High School, Torie J Anderson M.Ed, M.A.Ed. are teaming up to implement Hygiene closets in Detroit Public Schools to alleviate the need of hygiene products that the students need to be productive.
HELP US ON OUR MISSION BY DONATING
Our kickoff will begin on October 26th at Mumford High School. We plan to fund this project with donations from the community, fundraising, and local business sponsors. Ex: A business/community leader can sponsor a school.
Research shows that poor hygiene affects attendance and student performance due to being teased by other students. This will also decrease student bullying and increase attendance rates.
